Five things security-conscious facilities teams do before day one: (1) Provision temporary contractor credentials tied to specific time windows — not indefinite access. (2) Establish a visitor management process before the first day of operations, not after. (3) Configure zone-based access so not everyone with building access can reach every floor on day one.
